Aims and Scope

Review of Applied Linguistics Research (RALR) is an open access and double blind peer reviewed international journal published by Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran. The main objective of RLAR is to provide a platform for the international scholars, academicians and researchers to share the contemporary thoughts in the fields of translation, translation studies and interpretation. RALR aims to promote interdisciplinary studies in translation studies. The journal encourages critical reflection on: translator and translation competence(s); interpreter and interpreting competence(s);, methods and techniques; assessment and accreditation; trainer training. It seeks in particular to encourage interdisciplinary approaches that incorporate appropriate research methods and insights from fields such as (higher) education, translation and interpreting studies, such as cultural studies, linguistics, communication studies, anthropology, cognitive science and literary studies.
